But even better pumpkin seeds!

I went all out this year with pumpkin seeds. Normally I just bake them in salt. This year I decided to use a real recipe, by Martha Stewart even! It's really easy and makes exceptionally good pumpkin seeds. They are coated in sugar, salt, cinnamon, cumin and cayenne. Cayenne goes a long way, so you only need a pinch. The recipe calls for peanut oil, but I used vegetable oil and it worked just fine. Just make sure to use a tasteless type of oil, not olive or sesame. Also, Martha says to bake the seeds for an hour to dry them out, but mine were dry in 20 minutes. So be sure to check them regularly to prevent them from burning. Enjoy!
